I'm a native Californian who came to Cornwall by way of Rock and Roll marriage in 1999. I began doing Comedy Improvisation when I was 16 in Hollywood and I've been in various groups ever since. I've spent the bulk of my working life as a Stand-up comedian, touring America. After relocating to England, I settled in, had a baby, and then decided to have a stab at the comedy circuit here in the U.K. As well as stand- up I enjoy acting and have since appeared on telly both here (BBC, Carlton and Channel 5) and in the U.S. Living and loving Cornwall as well as Improvisational Comedy, I decided (along with Chrissie Muir) to start up a local group. Nowadays, I am thrilled and honoured to be a part of and direct IMPROPER Improvisational comedy group!

Well, most comedy seems to take place at Jongleurs but my personal favourite is the comedy club at the Wedgewood Rooms which runs once a month. You can eat, drink and be merry. And there's a disco afterwards so you can groove your thang.

Aha- well Portsmouth huh? You can eat, drink and be Mary...well well well Dan- I never knew- COOL! So...are you currently sporting Wedges, Platforms or the ever popular Spike heel?? Personally judging from your photo- I would say wedges- with those Romanesque ties that go up all the way to your closely shaved kneecaps!! The only problem I see is that there are 6 of us- so that's alot of ££ to ask for- as brilliant as we may be.

Do you have some connection with the Improper comedy group in London?
(I don't shave my kneecaps by the way, but you're right about the wedges. Best served spicy with a tomato based dip)
